Rebel Óg are currently requesting the assistance of clubs to locate the whereabouts of trophies that have not been presented for competitions for some years. These include the Liam Lyne, Stephen Nolan and Frank Halbert cups.
In particular, Rebel Óg is anxious to locate the Dick Barrett Shield which was last played for around 2013 and is missing since 2015. This is a very prestigious shield and Rebel Óg are especially keen to find it as the centenary of Dick Barrett’s death approaches and it may be required for some events.
The co-operation of all clubs is very much appreciated in this matter. If you can assist in any way, please contact either Jim Healy (085/8531145) or Donal Whooley (087/9780950). Alternatively you can email secretarybng.cork@gaa.ie
