Ibane Gaels U16 Premier 2a Champions 2017

Well done to Ibane Gaels who ran out winners in the Premier 2A U16 County Football following their win over a hard working Macroom side.

The West Cork sides overall strength was on show from the off as they controlled this game from the start. No matter what Macroom tried to do they couldn’t breakdown the hard work from Ibane.

Macroom to their credit, put everything they could into this contest but Ibane were too strong and ran out winners 3-15 to 0-6.

Baring a draw, Macroom and Ibane Gaels will lift the Premier 2a U16 football title on Sunday evening in Kilmichael as both teams clash in this seasons decider.

Both teams have been battling hard to book their place in the final and you can see the path to the finals below and full details of the competition.
