Midleton fall at final hurdle
Cork’s hope for a Harty Cup success will go in to a 13th season as Midleton were beaten by Ardscoil Ris in the final today.
Played in front of a packed Mallow GAA complex with almost 3000 people in attendance.
Despite getting the opening score of the game today wasn’t going to be Midleton’s day as an early Ardscoil Ris goal put them on the path to victory.
Not to be today for @CbsHurling – sometimes, despite your best efforts, you just come up against a better team. Beidh lá eile ag an bpaorach #GAA https://t.co/A5HgWkiwCr

Despite a late effort by the East Cork school, Ardscoil Ris had more on the board and ran out winners.
Midleton will now go into an All-Ireland Q-Final in the coming weeks.
