Coiste na nOg have confirmed that the final of the Rebel Og U15'A' hurling final between Bandon and Youghal will take place on Wednesday night. 

Both teams have been battling over the last number of weeks on their way to the County Final.

For Youghal, the beat Cobh in the opening round, in a game where they raised the green flag on nine occasions. Youghal then played Keal Gaels in the Q-Final and score 16 points to win by seven.  Youghal then beat Cuchullains in the Semi-Final of the competition. 

Bandon's first game in the competition came at Q-Final stages  when they put eight goals and twenty three points past Keale Gaels. In the Semi-Final, Bandon were too strong for East Cork side Lisgoold as they won by 26 points.

The eagerly awaited Premier Minor Championship will commence this week with the opening game taking place.

Premier 2a Minor hurling championship will be the first competition to enter the action with Valley Rovers meeting Carrigtwohill in Delany’s.

After that, Thursday 11th of July will see six games with four at Premier 1 and two at Premier 2a. The action will continue on Wednesday night with the Premier 2 competition four games down while the final 2a game in round one will be played.

The June 2017 winners of the Rebel Óg Monthly Awards sponsored by the Clayton Hotel Silver Springs, Cummins Sports (Award Sponsors) with RedFM and The Evening Echo (Media Partners) are Sarsfields – Division 1 Camogie Champions, Na Piarsaigh – Division 3 Hurling Champions, Cuchullains – Division 6 Hurling Champions and St. Kevin’s – Division 11 Hurling Champions – all Féile na nGael Champions.

Four Cork clubs competed in the finals of the All-Ireland Féile and proved worthy winners of the All-Irelands, culminating in four All-Ireland Titles.  The Victorious four sides, Sarsfield Camogie Club Glanmire, Na Piarsaigh, Cuchullains from Kanturk and Milford side St. Kevin’s formed a victorious Rebel County Quartet of All-Irelands.  A remarkable achievement and those four teams are recognised today for their endeavours with the richly deserved Rebel Og Award for June.

Week one of Cup Camps are after coming to an end. 

Clubs around the county have been busy working on their camps programme for this summer’s fun.

Rebel Og Central have confirmed to Rebel Og that the opening first round games in the Minor Championship will take place on either July 11th or 12th. 

The board have confirmed to www.rebelog.ie that the games MUST take place as agreed by the board to facilitate the back door programme.
