REGULATIONS FOR THE 2017 NON EXAMINATIONS
1.Leaving Certificate and / or Applied Leaving Certificate Players are not permitted to play in any part of the competition.
2.Regulation 6.18, Leath 35 of Coiste na nÓg Fixture Planner and Regulations applies
3.Decision of Coiste na nÓg on all matters is final.
Hurling – Friday 5th May and every Friday from then until conclusion of the competition.

Football – Tuesday 9th May and every Tuesday, with the exception of Tuesday 30th May, (In House, School Examinations) and then until conclusion of the competition.
Group 2 in Football is a seven team group and in order that the games are concluded by the date as per the booklet 20th June, it is necessary to include 2 additional dates as follows, Friday 2nd June and Friday 16th June.

5.Teams are 13 a side. Where a team has only say 11 or 12 players, the game can go ahead, but the opposition are not obliged to leave a player(s) on the side-line to accommodate their opponents.
6Coiste na nÓg are not agreeable to change of dates for fixtures from the scheduled dates, except in exceptional circumstances. In such a case a club must seek approval from their direct opponent on an agreed date, either 1 day prior to or 1 day following the scheduled fixture before contacting Coiste na nÓg. Coiste na nóg will not sanction a refixture that goes outside the scheduled fixture programme.
7.In the event of a tie between teams to decide Semi Final / Final placings, the side with the lowest score conceded shall be the side to qualify.
8.In Semi Finals / Final, if a game ends level, extra time is to be played. If sides are still level following extra time, the referee restarts the game and the first side to score is declared the winner.
9.In the event of the appointed referee not attending, clubs are to agree on substitute referee by either tossing or by agreement. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in forfeiture of the points by the club failing to agree, and subsequent loss of their Non Examination Charge.
10.The Home team is responsible for forwarding the score, Please obtain score from Referee, prior to texting score to the Non Examination Co-ordinator. Scores should be texted within 1 hour of conclusion of game.
