Details regarding Rebel Og Hurling Feile 2017

Rebel Og are delighted to announce details for the eagerly anticipated Feile na nGael U14 hurling tournament.
We are also delighted to announce that the Evening Echo will sponsor the event.
This year the National Finals are scheduled for 16th June 2017 (Friday), 17th June 2017 (Saturday) and 18th June 2017 (Sunday) and are being hosted by Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford.
Please note that the Cork Group Stages of Feile na nÓg are scheduled for Saturday 20th May and the Semi Finals and finals of the Premier Group (Division 1) on Friday evening 26th May, 2017 will be hosted by St.Finbarrs at Grounds, Togher .
Semi Finals and Finals of the ‘A’ and ‘B’ (13 a Side) are scheduled for Saturday 27th May. Times and venues will be notified once semi-final pairings are known.
Closing dates for entries is Wednesday 26adh Aibreain 2017 and must be accompanied by the relevant fee.
2017 Rebel Og Feile Hurling will take place on Saturday May 20th with the finals on the 26th of May
Clubs interested in being considered to host one of the group stages are advised to tick the box below advising of their intentions. For these Group stages it is necessary for interested Clubs to have 2 pitches available so that 2 games can go ahead at the same time, thus keeping the competition running on schedule.
The draw for the hosting of teams for National Hurling Feile took place on recently . Cork will be invited to send three teams to National Feile na nGael.
This is keeping with what Cork were allocated in 2016 and 2015.
Current Cork Champions are Premier Glen Rovers, A grade is Whitechurch and B was won by Lisgoold
The winners of Cork Premier Feile and the famed "Dava O'Brien" trophy will travel to Kilkenny for this season's event.
The winning Division 1 team will be hosted by the the current Kilkenny County champions O'Loughlin Gaels
This season's event will be hosted by Leinster Council with three counties playing hosts, Kilkenny, Carlow and Wexford.
Cork's second team that travel to Piltown in Kilkenny in Division 3. The team that Cork will nominate here will be the winners of our "A grade"
The winners of Cork "B Grade" will compete in National Feile in Division 6 with Rower Inistioge from Kilkenny being the host club.
The competition will again take place over three days with Cup and Shield Q-FInals on the Saturday followed by the Semi-finals and finals on the Sunday.
All teams will play four games. Top two teams will go to Cup knockout while bottom two will go to Shield Q-Finals.
